Children of Africa

What is Children of Africa?
The Children of Africa Foundation is a grassroots organization that collects and donates everything from teaching and medical supplies to clothing and tots, to distribute in rural villages in West Africa.
The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and women in rural Africa through education and providing the necessary tools to raise their standard of living. Our goal is to nurture those in need into becoming productive members of society.
In the past three years, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, we have furthered our cause by organizing multiple fundraisers through our Children of Africa: Improving Education organization, including a number of charitable events promoting our foundation to the next generation. We are also forunate to work alongside many other not-for-profit organizations, which have helped us by raiding much-needed funds, as well as collecting non-monetary donations from their respective communities.
What makes Children of Africa such a special organization is our volunteers, who offer their time to solicit, pick up and store the donations until they can be packed and shipped to Africa. Each and every donation is then taken directly by our volunteers to the villages of various West African Countries.

With the help of Ramsey and Texture Hair Salon, Children of Africa was able to have a website, secured funding for shipments and other essential necessities for fundraising and events.
